My Intestines have been growling at me for years, and I've been diagnosed with the catch-all IBS, Irritable Bowel Syndrome a long while ago. It can be excruciating and debilitating, so I've tried all sorts of IBS medication and supplements.I've tried Charcoal for bloating and gas-reduction, and used Probiotics especially after a course of antibiotics that can wreck intestinal flora - The Gut Biome, as it's often referred to.This is the first product I've seen that combines the two, but it makes sense. Here, it's the 'father' of probiotics, Acidophilus, with a proven track record for many. 16 Billion CFU ( Colony Forming Units ) is oddly specific, and I'm not too sure whether the information on contents is Per Tablet or Per Recommended Dose of 4. It's not clear.The bottle is smart, clear-sealed, and quite small. The cap is a child safety cap - push and turn and there is also a foil seal.Tablets themselves are still very black, with no trace of a white associated with probiotics, and are 10.1mm wide and 5.3mm thick, an easy swallow, though I wouldn't try swallowing the suggested 4-tab dose in one go. At that dose, it's a month's supply.The printing on the rear is very small. Didn't need to be, there's enough room. Nutritional Information is easier to read.Having recently completed an antibiotics course and with too many strange noises from below, I'm hoping there will be a noticeable improvement.

When I opened the container, I did notice a bit of black charcoal residue on my fingers, but it’s not a big deal, it just shows how fine the charcoal is. There’s also a light coconut scent, which I actually really like.The tablets are easy to take. The suggested serving is four a day, but I started with two and plenty of water to see how my body reacted. So far, they’ve been gentle on my stomach and have helped reduce bloating, which I really appreciate.Overall, I’m happy with these and plan to keep using them. The combination of probiotics and charcoal feels like a good balance for daily gut support.

Been taking these for a while, and they seem to help with bloating. Capsules are easy to swallow, no weird aftertaste. Can’t say it’s a magic fix, but I do feel a bit lighter and more comfortable.

I like trying different gut supplements. This one is new to me, but I can see how it could work. I'm not noticing any difference to my usual tablets, but then I'm not noticing anything adverse either. They are reasonably small round tablets. For me, ok to swallow. I'm not so pleased that the recommended dose is x4 a day though. I suppose you don't have to take that many, but I like to follow the manufacturer recommendations. So, just 30 day supply. Being charcoal, they will leave your fingers a little blackened, so don't rub your eyes or scratch your face immediately after handling! They also make the inside of my supplement pots a little dusty black.

The addition of the probiotics seems like a great idea too.This bottle contains 120 tablets, and since the ‘dosage’ is about 4 capsules per day, it’s about a months supply and with the amoubt of bacteria, they seem like decent quality and good value.The tablets are round and flat, and about 1cm in diameter, so not tiny. They have a slight coating on them making them a bit easier to swallow, and have no smell, taste or aftertaste. I do take them one cat a time though, not 4 in one mouthful.They are messy - I’ll say that, you do get charcoal on your fingers when getting them out of the bottle so don’t plan on taking when wearing a nice white shirt!Supplements are hard to judge, but I’ll say my gut is happy with them and leave it at that.

The charcoal tablets come in a double sealed bottle. There is a plastic seal holding the lid on, and when you remove the lid, there is another seal keeping the tablets in the bottle.The recommended dose is four tablets, I did think that was a lot and wondered how I would swallow them. However, the tablets themselves look like Smarties. They do leave a slight black mark on my hands, but they are very easy to swallow with a glass of water. They don't really have any taste to them.One of the problems I usually get after eating is a bit of wind. After taking these, there was no sign of any wind. I would say that these are very effective. I should have eaten some Brussel sprouts to test them!!In the bottle you get 120 tablets, and if you do take 4, it is enough for 30 days. The quality is very good, and I would get them again.

Good priced probiotics with charcoal, although tablets are a bit off putting being black they are pretty tasteless and easy to swallow. Good amounts of lactobacillus to improve gut health and so aid immunity. Have not found any difference with added charcoal but should help people who have wind pain and aid digestion

Great tablets, easy to swallow. No horrible taste/after taste or smell. Great if you feel bloated or suffer wit trapped wind. Its difficult to remember to take 4 times a day and does leave black on fingers but all in all would defiantly recommend

So, we didn't get constipated but it didn't stop me from getting the runs either. It definitely darkened the stool so the entire time we were taking this, stool colour was just really dark. Charcoal is supposed to stop gas and bloat but we definitely got gassy on a couple of occasions despite taking this.What I will say is that I will trust that the gut bacteria we were taking was helping us with our immune system since neither hubby nor I got sick (almost a couple of times with sore throats for a day or two but quickly recovered without getting any worse) even though the weather's changed and there were so many people coughing and spluttering around us.

You are taking four of these tablets daily however they are not particularly big and I find them easy to swallow with water. This bottle of 120 will therefore last year around a month and price start around £8 it is pretty reasonable. You're getting a decent 1200 mg charcoal dosage in each of the four tablet servings and I appreciate the very high CFU of the probiotics. I have been very happy with this supplements which is suitable for vegans and I definitely would consider ordering it again in the future.

These capsules are no mess and easy to take. There is no taste or smell to them and they appear to be good value.

This a product that suits my particular needs at the moment. I particularly like the fact that the product also contains the probiotic Lactobacillus Acidophilus. The capsules are easy to swallow, so I will add this product into my nutritional supplement armoury, and take it as and when I feel it’s necessary.

I wanted to try these to see if they would make a difference to my extremely slow and ‘grumpy’ digestive system. The suggested dose is 4 a day, but I’m a little nervous of taking that many, due to reading that it can be dehydrating, which probably wouldn’t do much to ‘help things along’. I’ve been taking one a day, more for bloating and gas than anything, but haven’t really noticed much of a difference - so these probably aren’t really for me given my specific issues. I think I’ll put them in the medicine cabinet and keep them for occasions of ‘overindulgence’ in the alcohol department - as they are apparently a good cure for a hangover. They are easy to swallow, no taste or smell - and if you’re already familiar with activated charcoal and it’s uses then I can’t see why this wouldn’t be a good choice.

Taken for some time and seem to help with bloating, probably be as good as you can get from some more established high street stores but for the money it's good quality and value.

I think they are helping, need to use them a little longer than I can give a proper review.
